Come enjoy food and beverages from your favorite local country store and eatery.

93.9 The River with Monte Belmonte will be providing the tunes for the frosty festivities.

 
         
         
  Superpipe Sledding Hill   Frosty Fun Kids Carnival  
  Noon - dusk

Remember the "gigantic" hill from the past few years... well, bring the kids 'cause the hill is back.

Bring your sleds, tubes, mittens and hats for a fun-filled afternoon on the sledding hill.

The kids carnival will have everything to keep the wee ones interested in outdoor fun and excitement.

OMG. Come and participate in the area's most delicious display of gastronomic enterprise (and sample some darn fine chili, too).

The winning restaurant will take home the coveted Winterfest ChiliBowl Trophy. Tropy to be presented at 2:00pm.

The Roberts Family of Muddy Brook Farms invites you to join them with your family on a ye old horse drawn wagon ride around the Cherry Hill Golf Course property.

  Cross-Country Ski Demo & Race   Family Ice Sculpture Contest

Wax up your skis, you're gonna need it, if you plan on keeping up with the kids of the APRHS ski team who'll be giving demonstrations to newbies in the afternoon.

The cross-country ski race is open to anyone who wants to join.

Bring your own equipment.

  2:00pm

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. So don't be afraid to try your hand at snow sculpture. This is a perfect event for families, businesses and groups.

Trophies will be awarded.

  Dog Sled Demonstration   Winter Bird Watching Trek

Ever want to see a real sled dog team? Well, come on over to Winterfest 2010 where Hilltown Wilderness Adventures will be providing sled dog demonstrations.

Relax and take in the beauty of our natural world on a winter bird watching trek.

Learn all about our fine feathered friends in their natural habitat.

 
         
  Cross-Country Ski Lesson   Frisbee Long Drive Contest  
  2:30pm

Learn the basic skills of cross country skiing with a free beginner-level instructional session.

You are encouraged to bring your own equipment. Some equipment may be available to rent or borrow.

The population of Amherst is well-known for their Ultimate Frisbee and Disc Golf prowess.

If you think you have what it takes to throw farther than all others, then come on over to the first tee box and show your stuff by slinging discs down the fairway.

 
         
         
  The Cardboard Classic   Wine and Cheese Tasting

A race that combines speed, creativity, box/costume design and plain ol' guts! The Cardboard Classic is open to anyone and everyone. You'll need to build your own sled, but hey, that doesn't stop most folks.

It'll be cold outside, but we'll keep you warm inside with a wine and cheese tasting. All you need is a discerning palate and a photo id.

Winterfest 2010 is bringing the heat with a fireworks display to close out the festivities.

Keep your family and friends dancing to the music or prancing around the bon fire all the way to the end of the evening. Then join us while Winterfest 2010 goes out with a bang!
